Steffi Dampney, (MBPsS), is based in Malmesbury, Wiltshire.  She is a Sport and Exercise Psychologist who works with a variety of sports, both team and individual.  So far she has enjoyed providing support for sports such as athletics, tetrathlon, rugby, football, golf, shooting and various equestrian sports.  These sessions have helped Steffi develop her approach and understand that despite individual differences the central tenets of sport psychology can be applied to all people and all sports.

After graduating with a Psychology degree from Newcastle University in 2014 Steffi took a year out before embarking on a Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of the West of England.  It was during this time that she reconnected with Charlie Unwin of Performance Legacy who had mentored her throughout her degree.  This gave her a fascinating insight into performance psychology and really enhanced her view that optimal performance in any walk of life, be it sport or business, is the ultimate goal.

Steffi is registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and has just achieved the status of a chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist, under the supervision of Richard Collins (owner of Head for a Win and registered HCPC Psychologist).

Steffi is currently working as Sport Psychologist for the Sports Academy at Hartpury College and University, focussing mainly on the golf, women's rugby and equestrian academies.  She is also very excited to be working with Sarah Huntley and Charlie Unwin at Centre 10, providing insight into equestrian psychology for coaches.  Watch this space for research into bridging the physical-mental gap, collaborating with Performance Legacy once again.
